Meet David R. Bankston

David R. Bankston was born in Baton Rouge in 1961 and was raised there. A 1979 graduate of Broadmoor High School, David went on to study at LSU and graduated in 1983 in Business/Pre-Law. He completed his Juris Doctorate degree in 1986 from the LSU Paul M. Hebert School of Law and was licensed to practice law in that year.

Upon graduation, he moved to Lafayette and took the position of Law Clerk for Judge Allen M. Babineaux for two years in the 15th Judicial District Court. After several additional years of work as an associate lawyer, he formed his own solo law practice in 1996 as David R. Bankston, Ltd. (APLC). He has continued to practice since that time, serving clients in various areas of legal practice.
